Restaurant and Non Profit team up for a good cause!

Melanie Laviolette, Revenue Development Assistant for The Arthritis Society talks about the Vine and Dine fundraising event coming up June 27th at The Blue Door Restaurant.

Why not enjoy a five course meal with wine pairing and even learn a little while helping a good cause? That was exactly the question Mike Babineau, Co-owner of The Blue Door asked when he approached the Arthritis Society to help them with raising funds.

More and more, local businesses are partnering with non profits and both are feeling the benefit.

The event will be an evening of fine dining and great wine pairings! Sommelier Ryan and Chef Peter will be on hand to describe the wine and food. To tempt you, the meal will begin with a lovely scallop ceviche followed by local greens. After a palate cleansing, you will be delighted with a seared duck breast entrée. To cap the night, a light Lychee mousse with raspberry coulis for dessert.

This five course meal and wine tasting is a perfect way to spend an elegant summer evening, and benefits the 125,000 New Brunswick residents living with arthritis through The Society’s commitment to research, advocacy, programs and services.

The Arthritis Society is a non profit and could always use your donations. You can visit their website
